Technical Skills:
iSeries Platform experience
Development language - RPG/RPGLE,SQLRPGLE, CLP/CLLE
Tools - SQL/400, Query/400, QM Query
Database - DB2/400 database.
Experience with any iSeries Change Management tool is desirable.
Domain Knowledge:
Banking or finance domain background is desirable.
Familiarity with Private Banking and OLYMPIC Banking System will be a definite plus.
Ability to code independently
Understand functional requirements and covert the same to the technical specifications
Should be able to co-ordinate and arbitrate with onsite counterparts
Adhere to the defined process through the request life cycle and produce necessary documents/artefacts as part of the deliverables
Decompose the business requirements into functional specification documentation
Develop/ fix the code per the change requirement and follow the standards & procedures.
Perform Technical Review before delivery to User Acceptance
Should have worked in Development,maintenance and enhancement projects
Should be process oriented, with a clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and s/w configuration processes
Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
Should have good customer handling experience
